Music Man
Book, music and lyrics by Meredith Willson.
The Music Man is the first production for 2010 by the Tamworth Musical Society and will be staged in May 2010 at the Capitol Theatre Tamworth.
The Music Man is that jim-dandy musical with the thump and dazzle of a marching band! It’s 1912, and Harold Hill, the every-time-a-bulls-eye salesman has just chugged into River City, Iowa, bringing with him a sample case full of trouble. Marian the Librarian, her little brother Winthrop, and their Iowa-stubborn neighbours will never be quite the same again.
What a score! What a story! What a show!
